Good morning and happy hump day! Watch the video and then read my response:

So as you watched from the video, WW is currently living in a sober house. Having experience working with detainees and the homeless population to individuals with busy working glamorous lives, I have seen the similarities with any of those individuals that are struggling with addiction. In my opinion, I found it thoroughly brave of WW to share her truth. If you know what WW does for a living, she shares the news of celebs and gives her take on the “juice” so to speak. Her thoughts can be hilarious or downright in your face. Needless to say she has a very polarizing personality. You’re either going to love her or you’re going to hate her.

I have 5 Questions for WW:
1. When was your last drug use? Or, How many days are you clean?
2. How much, if at all, does your job affect your life of sobriety? And why?
3. Would the support or hate from fans/haters affect your current sobriety?
4. How difficult is it for your family to support you during addiction?
5. What is/are your drug (s) of choice currently?

Again, the signs of addiction may not be as noticeable to the naked eye because people struggling with addiction become great at hiding their use. Eventually, they are caught, which is good for their health because some don’t make it out of rehab to tell the story. I think of people like Amy Whinehouse (God rest her soul. I loved her voice so much- miss her) I also think of the tv show, This is Us, where a few of them struggled with addictions. Randalls’s fathers William and Jack and his brother, Kevin struggled/struggles with their own addictions. We can also say Kate struggled with a food addiction which led to poor eating behaviors and patterns and she continues to deal with the aftermath of those decisions.  For all, the addictions came about in different ways.
For WW, I am uncertain how her addiction came about but I do truly commend her for sharing and I respect her strength and I am hoping she pulls through successfully.

What are your thoughts? Do you have any addictions?
