Health & Fitness - My current progress

If you have been following my health challenge journey, I have literally bared it all...well, except for my head/face because my hair If you have been following my health challenge 2019, I have literally bared it all...well, except my head/face because my hair was wrapped up, etc. It is now week #4 of my "insanity workout" journey. Some days waking up is easy, but doing the workout is hard. Other days, waking up is tough, but the workout is easy. Then there are other days when waking up is difficult and working out is hard.
Either way, I have remained disciplined, thanks to my workout partner. We push one another to work out consistently, and I must say that if it had not been for him, I would do these workouts at various times which would lead to skipping workouts often. I am uncertain, but I am here to share my story of struggles, my perseverance, and my discipline. I feel like it is also an opportunity to build my character.

As far as the meals are concerned, I still struggle to limit my sugar intake, but I have reduced it. I have most likely consumed a little more carbs, but with the workouts, it is important to eat carbs to refuel my body. I do miss my regular workouts in the gym though. I truly miss running. I am uncertain if I will still have the stamina to run 6 miles under an hour, but we'll see how this goes. I was hoping to build up to 10 miles, but the insanity workout has stopped that process for now. I hope to continue working towards my running goal after completing the insanity program.

Tidbit: I wish I could further develop my upper body strength. My lower body strength in comparison is much stronger.

Do you have any tips for me as I continue on this journey? If so, please share, I would greatly appreciate it. Don't forget to follow me @LWCounsels.
