Health & Fitness - This morning

This morning I did not feel enthused about working out. The bed felt just warm, I felt rested, mini concert at home last night with hubs was on point so I wanted to start the day off with administrative work. The reality though is that I have so much admin work that I need to get other things done now so I can be more productive and have a different energy for my afternoon appointments. I try to work out about 2-4 times a week. Typically 2 workouts are approx 45-60 minutes and if I add another, it is typically shorter and focuses on a particular body part or area. I have only done 1 workout this week because I worked out on Saturday night last week versus Sunday of this week.

I felt like the more I laid here, the more I tried to talk myself out of it.

It’s funny how we often times talk ourselves out of going in the direction we need to go. I know that it is in my best interest to workout in the mornings because I’m typically appointment heavy in the late afternoon/evening. Plus, exercising is a good thing, a great thing in fact. I thought, "If I don’t get up now, I may end up putting off my workout for a day and I’m not getting up on Thanksgiving to work out." Picture that! At least, my desire to work out tomorrow would be much less than my desire to workout today, I concluded in my mind. I want to be rejuvenated today, so I rose up and did this workout.

I love Pamela's at-home workouts. You can use one workout video or two. It really depends on how much time you have to spend. Today was my first time doing this video - https://youtu.be/QUn2iTnPOyw I failed miserably at it, but I tried. I will try it again and see how much more of it I can do. :-) don't laugh at me, just get up and move!
